Personal bests reach triple figures for Corinth Nautical Club at the first meet of the 2022-2023 season!

Corinth Nautical Club records 142 personal bests in Patras!

Corinth Nautical Club (NOK) began the season in Patras with 56 swimmers from its competitive and pre-competitive squads taking part and achieving a total of 142 personal bests.

At the meet held on Saturday 26 November 2022, NOK's swimmers put in strong performances alongside teams from the Peloponnese and the Ionian Islands, showing encouraging signs for the future.

Many of our young swimmers also finished in the top three in the majority of events, across both the competitive and pre-competitive categories.

In detail, the 26 swimmers in our competitive squad achieved 65 personal bests, while our pre-competitive squad achieved 72 personal bests.

It is worth noting that Saturday's meet was the first time several of our young swimmers had competed in NOK's colours. We wish them a future full of wonderful swimming experiences and success.

The team's attention now turns to the PAO Trophy, which will take place from 2 to 4 December at the Athens Olympic Aquatic Centre (OAKA), while training continues at full pace! You can find more information about the PAO Trophy and every other meet this season in the online competition calendar on our website.

Congratulations to our club's coaching team, Giorgos Michalopoulos, Nikos Stratoudakis and Maria Vyrla, as well as Konstantinos Michalopoulos, who is currently serving in the military and provides us with statistical support from afar! Many congratulations also go to all the board members and swimming coordinators who helped organise the team's trip.

Finally, we would like to congratulate all our swimmers on their efforts at the meet and thank the parents for their continued support and excellent cooperation throughout the trip.

Plenty of photos will follow over the coming days!
