Titles - Championships - Be Part of History
A dream weekend in Patras for Corinth Nautical Club: the Peloponnese and Southern Ionian Islands regional championship title after 27 years, a clean sweep of the men's, women's and overall standings, 112 medals, club records and personal bests!!!
Corinth Nautical Club on top!!! Everyone's patience and consistency over recent years have paid off.
Corinth Nautical Club competed in Patras on 29-30 June 2024 with 58 swimmers and came home with a clean sweep:
3 TITLES OUT OF 3!!!
Corinth Nautical Club took first place in the overall standings with 599 points, first place in the men's standings with 311 points and first place in the women's standings with 288 points.
These are our team's first titles in the competitive age groups in the Peloponnese region for a full 27 years. It is also the first time in the club's history, and only the second time for any club in the region, that a team has won all three titles!
But the successes do not end there.
Corinth Nautical Club's swimmers in the competitive and pre-competitive age groups returned with 112 medals, 4 club records and many personal bests!
The competitive squad won 69 medals, the pre-competitive squad 30 and the Mini squad 13 across individual and relay events. For the competitive age groups, this year's journey continues, as 13 (!) of our swimmers qualified for the second stage of the Greek National Championships, to be held in Ioannina next week and at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex (OAKA) the following week.
It is worth noting that the swimmers who qualified for the next stage improved their times and were highly competitive at national level.
This has been another year of hard work for everyone involved with Corinth Nautical Club: swimmers, coaches, the board and our partners. Together, we achieved this result, which gives us tremendous motivation for the future.
